El Capitolio Nacional
It is the seat of congress, originally the site of the Viceroy's Palace. It was built with the help of several architects and engineers beginning in 1846 until it was eventually finished in 1926.Its distinctive façade was designed by the Danish architect Thomas Reed and comprises of 18 ionic columns at the center of the building.
Lugar donde se reúne el Congreso. Originalmente era conocido como el Palacio de los Virreyes. Su construcción empezó en 1846 y terminó en 1926. Intervinieron numerosos ingenieros y arquitectos. Su fachada se caracteriza por sus 18 columnas de estilo jónico en el centro del edificio. Fue diseñada por el arquitecto danés Thomas Reed.
